Rachel came up with the WriggleEase as an answer for all the parents trying to keep a baby comfortable on their lap during a long flight, on a train or bus journey, or when enjoying a catch up with their friends. Her youngest daughter Sylvie was walking at eight months old and like many active kids would never sit still. After particularly stressful flights to and from Egypt, Rachel knew there must be some kind of solution to this common story. Formulating an idea, creating a prototype and realising it actually worked, Rachel knew this was something that could transform travel and day to day life with young children.
Fast forward through two years of product design, development, hard work and vigorous testing, and the WriggleEase is finally ready for you!
The WriggleEase has been rigorously tested to appropriate European standards. It has passed EN 71-1: 2014+A1: 2018, which is a European standard that applies to toys for children. This test covers small parts, sharp edges, sharp points and tension tests. It has also passed EN 14988:2017+A1:2020 , which is a European standard that specifies safety requirements for free standing children's high chairs. This test covers the strength of the parts of the restraint system and the slippage of the straps of the restraint system.
Not only this, we have also made sure there are no harmful chemicals in the WriggleEase. It has passed all 19 required REACH tests.
